We serve the Virginia communities of Newport News, Hampton, York County and Gloucester Point. As our families continue to grow in not only their sizes, but also in their needs, we often need help to keep the joy and happiness flowing. Tender Ruffin' Care is here to help. - Kennels put your pets at risk of injury, neglect, and sickness. The most common risks include Kennel Cough (an extremely contagious airborne virus, which can pass from animal to animal quite easily), injury from other animals (quite common), stress (causing lack of appetite and energy), and lack of personal attention.
- Boarding keeps your pets cooped up in cages the size of the trunk of your car for large amounts of hours at a time, also putting your pet at risk of many of the same perils as kennels.
- Pet-sitting keeps your pet in the nurturing environment they are used to and most happy with. Your pets will receive personal attention, individual care, and will remain happy and free in their own home. Your pet will have a specialized care-plan.
